Ian Kneipp holds a BSc. Hons, PhD from James Cook University.

Ian is an experienced woodworker. He studied guitar making with Eugene Philp.

His guitars feature are similar in construction to Eugene Philp. Ian has used his science training and research experience to develop improved methods of material selection, assembly and quality control, keeping his guitars consistent in their quality and tone.

His craftmanship is of a very high standard, his guitars are not only responsive but have a loud and warm vocal tone.
