David Argent is one of the exciting new luthiers in Australia. The quality of finish of his instruments is exceptional. He has refined the lattice-braced system and used a computer-generated curve on the arched back. His guitars are loud and powerful they exhibit a tonal quality reminiscent of the great Spanish cedar guitars of the 1960’s, bell like trebles and Cello like basses.
